It’s a classic French beef stew, known as Beef Bourguignon. Beef chuck is seared in olive oil first, and then slowly braised with garlic and rosemary in a wine-based broth. After a few hours, the meat becomes meltingly tender and enveloped in a rich, deeply flavored sauce.
